Challenged with a theme of physical space, Hunt & Peck is an experimental mashup between Twister and Pro Wrestling (NES), featuring 8-bit fighting, randomized controls, catchy music, and absolute hilarity! Play this if you want a fun and goofy experience in which two may enter, and only one can leave… You can play the game here! (Requires Unity Web Player) Team size: 4 Role: Artist, Gameplay Designer Tools used: Photoshop, Unity Developer notes: Hunt & Peck started out with a single word: space. The team knew from the start that we wanted to do something different, and decided to utilize the word for physical space. Often, when people play multiplayer games on the same keyboard, they end up fighting for the controls in a cramped environment. We decided to utilize that and designed a game that encouraged players to fight over controls in a small area. My role on this project was designing and creating all the art assets, and helping work on the initial gameplay design. |
